AL-KO AKS 3004 Stabilizer coupling
Description
AL-KO AKS 3004 stabilizer coupling
Also called anti-sway coupling
The AL-KO AKS 30004 stabilizer coupling clamps around the ball using friction material, making the rotation of the coupling in the horizontal plane much heavier and stiffer than usual. This significantly reduces the swaying behavior of a trailer or caravan. The AKS 3004 is one of the most used couplings in the caravan industry, and is now almost standard on caravans with an AL-KO chassis. The AKS 3004 has proven itself over many safe kilometers and also lasts a long time.
AL-KO AKS 3004:
- Maximum ball pressure: 150kg
- Suitable for mounting on a towing bar around 50mm (with supplied spacers also around 45 and 35)
- Suitable for trailers with a total weight up to 3000kg
- Bolt holes M12
- 4 Friction elements against swaying and jackknifing
- Features handy safety indication that shows whether the coupling is correctly connected to the ball
- Complies with ISO 11555-1 (approval for 100 km/h possible)
Service life: The friction elements last up to 50,000 Km and can then be easily replaced
Included:
- Safety indicator
- Bolt material
- Spacers to compensate for different axle diameters
- Operating manual
Tip: Always keep your tow ball clean and grease-free when using a stabilizer coupling.
- AL-KO number: 1225158 / 1.225.158 / 1 225 158
- ETI number: 811607
