Technical data

The Knott KF hitches are available in various versions. All necessary information can be found on the nameplate on the hitch.
It is also possible to view all features separately. This is quite simple.

The number behind KF, 27 indicates the weight class, which is the basis for selecting a hitch.
KF27 = 1600kg to 2700kg

Then one looks at the coupling. This can be a standard ball coupling or a DIN eye. A DIN eye is mainly used behind trucks. 

The final element is the nose wheel bracket, which is easy to see on the hitch. If the nose wheel is directly mounted on the hitch instead of on the drawbar, then there is a nose wheel bracket. This has the advantage that the nose wheel is positioned in the middle of the drawbar and therefore in the middle of the trailer. The two product photos show hitches with a nose wheel bracket.
