With dot matrix stamps you can indicate the following on the type plate:
- Manufacturer's name (Brand)
- Type
- Chassis number (Vehicle identification number)
- Max Total weight
- Year of construction
- Max towball weight
- Max axle load

Trailer weighing 750kg or less and built after 29-10-2012? Then a type plate with the following information is mandatory:
- Manufacturer's name
- Type approval number with vehicle identification number
- Technically permissible maximum mass and axle loads

Such type plate with the above information is also always mandatory on trailers heavier than 750kg.
