The Knott KFG hitches are available in various models. All necessary information can be found on the nameplate on the hitch.

The number after KFG, 30, represents the weight class, which is the basis for selecting a hitch.
KFG30 = 1600kg to 3000kg

Next, one looks at the coupling. This can be a standard ball coupling or a DIN eye. A DIN eye is mainly common on the back of trucks.

The last element is the jockey wheel bracket, which is easy to identify on the hitch. If the jockey wheel is directly mounted on the hitch instead of on the drawbar, then it has a jockey wheel bracket. The advantage of this is that the jockey wheel is positioned in the middle of the drawbar and therefore in the middle of the trailer. The two product photos show hitches without a jockey wheel bracket.

These hitches have different hole patterns. They are indicated as follows: Front width center-to-center / Length center-to-center / Rear width center-to-center. All KFG35 hitches have dual slotted holes at the rear.
