The Knott KF overrun brakes are available in various versions. All necessary information can be found on the type plate on the overrun brake.
It is also possible to view all characteristics separately. This is quite simple.

The number after KF, 27 represents the weight class, which is the basis for selecting an overrun brake.
KF27 = 1600kg to 2700kg

Then one looks at the coupling. This can be a standard ball coupling or a DIN eye. A DIN eye is mainly common behind trucks. 

The final element is the jockey wheel bracket, which is easy to see on the overrun brake. If the jockey wheel is directly mounted on the overrun brake, instead of on the drawbar, then there is a jockey wheel bracket. This has the advantage that the jockey wheel is positioned in the middle of the drawbar and therefore also in the middle of the trailer.
