Technical data

The Knott KF hitches are available in various versions. All the necessary information can be found on the nameplate on the hitch.
It is also possible to view all features separately. This is quite simple.

The number behind KF, 27 stands for the weight class, this is the basis for selecting a hitch.
KF27 = 1600kg to 2700kg

Then one looks at the coupling. This can be a standard ball coupling or a DIN-eye. A DIN-eye is mainly used behind trucks. 

The last element is the jockey wheel bracket, this is easy to see on the hitch. If the jockey wheel is mounted directly on the hitch, instead of on the drawbar, then there is a jockey wheel bracket. This has the advantage that the jockey wheel is positioned in the middle of the drawbar and thus also in the middle of the trailer. The two product photos show hitches with a jockey wheel bracket.

All these hitches have a hole pattern with a width of 110mm center-to-center, a length center-to-center of 166mm and a rear width center-to-center of 200mm. 

All hitches come complete with a B50X coupling.
