Technical data

The Knott KF overrun brakes are available in various versions. All necessary information can be found on the nameplate on the overrun brake.
It is also possible to view all features separately. This is quite simple.

The number behind KF, 13, represents the weight class, which is the basis for selecting an overrun brake.
KF13 = 750kg to 1300kg

Then one looks at the coupling. This can be a standard ball coupling or a DIN eye. A DIN eye is mainly used behind trucks. 

The last element is the jockey wheel bracket, which is easy to see on the overrun brake. If the jockey wheel is mounted directly on the overrun brake, instead of on the drawbar, then there is a jockey wheel bracket. This has the advantage that the jockey wheel comes to the center of the drawbar and thus also to the center of the trailer. The two product photos show overrun brakes with a jockey wheel bracket.

All these overrun brakes have a hole pattern with a width of 110mm center to center, a length of 166mm center to center, and a width of 200mm center to center at the back. 

All overrun brakes come complete with a B50X coupling.
