Technical data

The Knott KF overrun brakes are available in different versions. All necessary information can be found on the type plate on the overrun brake.
It is also possible to view all features separately. This is quite simple.

The number following KF, 20, represents the weight class, which is the basis for selecting an overrun brake.
KF20 = 1100kg to 2000kg

Next, one looks at the coupling. This can be a standard ball coupling or a DIN eye. A DIN eye is mainly common behind trucks. 

The last element is the jockey wheel bracket, which is easy to see on the overrun brake. If the jockey wheel is mounted directly on the overrun brake, instead of on the drawbar, then there is a jockey wheel bracket. This has the advantage that the jockey wheel ends up in the middle of the drawbar and therefore also in the middle of the trailer. The two product photos show overrun brakes with a jockey wheel bracket.

All these overrun brakes have a hole pattern with a width of 110mm hole center to hole center, a length-wise hole center to hole center distance of 166mm, and a width hole center to hole center of 200mm at the rear. 

All overrun brakes come complete with a B50X coupling.
