- According to BOVAG, it is wise to replace the tires after six years at the latest. Check the DOT code on the side of the tire for this. You will see a code with four numbers. The first two indicate the production week, the second indicates the year.
- The mandatory minimum tread depth for a trailer tire is 1.6 mm.
- A trailer tire does not have a specific direction of rotation.
