- According to the BOVAG, it is wise to replace the tires after six years anyway. Check the DOT code on the side of the tire for this. You will see a code with four digits. The first two indicate the production week number, the second the year.
- The mandatory minimum tread depth for a trailer tire is 1.6 mm.
- A trailer tire does not have a driving direction.
