Switching box PTS 230-25

If you want your 230VAC equipment to work on both normal mains power and an inverter/generator, then installing a switching box is a must. A switching box from the PTS series ensures a seamless transition between two 230VAC circuits. If equipment is running at that moment, it will continue to operate without interruption. This switching box switches at a speed of less than 10 milliseconds. This also makes the PTS suitable for installation in a backup system.

An important feature is that this Power Transfer Switch is double-pole (phase and neutral) disconnected.

If no switching box is placed between the two power sources, the mains voltage will be in parallel with the output of the DC-AC inverter. This can cause serious damage to the inverter. Another option is to manually switch the cables each time. This is a cumbersome solution with the risk of forgetting to switch.

The PTS is suitable for a pair of 230VAC circuits. This can be: mains power with DC-AC inverter, mains power with generator, generator with DC-AC inverter.
