Replace Hub Nut
When performing maintenance on the trailer's braking system and the hub nut is loosened, it is recommended to also replace the hub nut. The current hub nuts are steel locknuts designed for single use. If the hub nut is reused multiple times, it may not lock correctly, necessitating a new nut. A new nut will also tighten more securely due to the locking mechanism it must provide.
