Technical data

The Knott KF couplers are available in various versions. All necessary information can be found on the type plate on the coupler.
It is also possible to view all features separately. This is quite easy.

The number after KF, 20 represents the weight class, this is the basis for selecting a coupler.
KF20 = 1100kg to 2000kg

Next, check the coupling. This can be a standard ball coupling or a DIN eye. A DIN eye is mainly common behind trucks. 

The last element is the jockey wheel bracket, which is easy to see on the coupler. If the jockey wheel is directly mounted on the coupler instead of on the drawbar, then it is a jockey wheel bracket. This has the advantage that the jockey wheel sits in the middle of the drawbar and therefore also in the middle of the trailer. The two product images show couplers with a jockey wheel bracket.

All these couplers have a hole pattern with a width of 110mm center to center, a lengthwise hole distance of 166mm center to center, and a width at the back of 200mm center to center. 

All couplers come complete with a B50X coupling.
