Technical data

The Knott KF couplers are available in various versions. All necessary information can be found on the type plate on the coupler.
It is also possible to view all features individually. This is quite simple.

The number behind KF, 20 represents the weight class, which is the basis for selecting a coupler.
KF20 = 1100kg to 2000kg

Next, one looks at the coupling. This can be a standard ball coupling or a din-eye. A din-eye is mainly common behind trucks. 

The last element is the nose wheel bracket, which is easy to see on the coupler. If the nose wheel is mounted directly on the coupler instead of on the drawbar, there is a nose wheel bracket. The advantage of this is that the nose wheel is placed in the middle of the drawbar, and thus also in the middle of the trailer. The two product photos show couplers with a nose wheel bracket.

All these couplers have a hole pattern with a width of 110mm center-to-center, a lengthwise hole spacing of 166mm center-to-center, and a rear hole width of 200mm center-to-center. 

All couplers come complete with a B50X coupling.
