Brake linings, also called brake shoes, are pressed against the inside of the brake drums during braking, causing the wheel to slow down. The brake linings are held in position by springs. This brake lining set contains all the wear parts of a wheel brake.

When replacing your linings, it is best to look at the numbers on your current brake lining. If you find them, you can easily replace your lining with the product with the same numbers. If you are unsure or can no longer read the numbers, you can look at the brand, dimensions, and attachment holes of the brake linings. Replacing Hub Nut

When working on the trailer's braking system and the hub nut is removed, it is advisable to also replace the hub nut. The current hub nuts are steel lock nuts, designed for one-time use. If the hub nut is used repeatedly, it will no longer lock correctly, necessitating a new nut. A new nut will also tighten a bit more securely due to the locking action the nut must exert.
