AL-KO Wheel Shock Absorber Support Set

If there are no attachment points on your axle for a shock absorber, you can mount a wheel shock absorber support on your AL-KO axle. A wheel shock absorber set consists of 2 plates that you attach to one side of the axle. So you need one set for each wheel shock absorber.
There are three ways in which the shock absorber bracket can be attached to the swivel arm with an AL-KO axle.

Mounting the Wheel Shock Absorber Support

1. Attach shock absorber holder with bolts
Some types of forged swivel arms have mounting holes to attach a shock absorber holder to the arm afterwards. This is the case for axle type B 700.

2. Insert shock absorber holder
Several stable-shaped swivel arms have mounting openings where a shock absorber holder can be inserted afterwards. The shock absorber can then be attached to it with bolts. This is the case for axle types B 850, B 1000, B 1200, and B 1600.

3. Weld on shock absorber holder
For axles with forged swivel arms, the shock absorber holders are welded on either at the factory or afterwards during assembly, in a specialized workshop, according to specific guidelines. This is the case for axle types B 1600, B 1800, and B 2500.
