Weight class

To avoid having to doubt the weight class when replacing your shock absorbers, AL-KO has classified the axle or wheel shock absorbers by color into weight categories. These black wheel shock absorbers belong to a medium to heavy weight class. The shock absorber is suitable for a single-axle up to 1500 kg and a tandem axle up to 3000 kg. When replacing, you can therefore look at the color of the shock absorber to be replaced. If you want to mount a new one, make sure you choose the shock absorber from the correct weight category. By choosing the correct weight category, you will experience maximum positive effects on the driving characteristics of your trailer.

During installation, you will notice that the bolts are integrated tightly into the eye of the damper. The corresponding nuts are of course included.
