This means that the charger can be even better tailored to the usage. By means of the various charging programs, the charger can be perfectly adjusted to any type of battery (Gel, AGM, wet, semi-traction, full-traction, calcium, and Spiral) and to the specific application. This may sound complicated, but the setting is very easy to determine with a push button. This way, the charging process is completely tailored to the respective usage situation, resulting in optimal charging. For batteries that are regularly deeply discharged, the charger, for example, has a special charging program to break down the sulfate. The microprocessor ensures a reliable, stable charge. An additional unique feature is that the voltage drop across the charging cables is automatically compensated. The ProMax 200 can remain continuously connected to the battery and mains voltage, even during battery load. This also makes this charger perfect for built-in applications. The charger is equipped with a temperature sensor to monitor the battery temperature during the charging process. Depending on the measured temperature, corrections are made to the charging voltages.
