The safety ball is inserted into the opening of the ball coupling when the trailer is disconnected. This makes it impossible for potential thieves to quickly drive off with your caravan or trailer. After securing it with a lock or other anti-theft protection, the Safety Ball provides additional security against hooking up with a hook and against quickly removing the safety ball.
