Weight Class

The axle or wheel shock absorbers are designed for light to medium-duty trailers with axles from 550 kg to 1050 kg. Nowadays, most axles are equipped with heavier axles. However, it may happen that a trailer that is already in use has an axle in this weight class. BPW has a certain color for each weight class, so when replacing, you can immediately see by the color which weight class you need. The shock absorbers for light to medium-duty trailers are red in color.
