In corners or when rolling, the centrifugal force always causes the outer wheel in the corner to be more loaded. The inner wheel tends to come off the road surface. The AL-KO Delta axle with sloping wheel suspension arms resists the centrifugal force: The wheels, each suspended separately on the wheel suspension arms (pivot arms), rotate in a sloping axle body when compressing and rebounding. The force exerted on the outer wheel in a corner is transferred to the wheel spindle through the pivot arm in such a way that the toe-in and negative camber (inward) of the wheel are increased. The wheel resists the centrifugal force and supports the vehicle with an inward force.
